Skunk2 Racing Ultra rods are manufactured from forged 4340 Chromoly steel then heat treated for ultimate strength. Skunk2 Racing Ultra rods are an x-beam style which greatly reduces weight while maintaining strength by removing material and strategically shaping the beam. This results in a very high strength to weight ratio and is great for circuit and drag racing. The ribs / straps on the pin end increase strength and stiffness under high loads and engine speeds. The step on the big end (crank journal side) is for strength and rigidity to maintain roundness. Does a part number guarantee vehicle fitment?

No. Product descriptions are supplied by the manufacturer. Check the manufacturer application information for your exact vehicle, engine and supporting modifications. Online checkout requires your exact-part fitment acknowledgment. Contact JuiceBuilt before ordering if you need fitment help.

Is the stock shown reserved for me?

No. Availability is a dated supplier snapshot. Inventory can change, and adding a part to your build does not reserve it. Availability and delivery are checked again before payment. A supplier order is confirmed separately after payment.

What about shipping?

Eligible standard-size parts orders with a parts subtotal of $100 or more receive free standard shipping.

The same $100 minimum applies to all brands, including Aerospace Components.

Oversized and freight items are excluded from free shipping at every subtotal, including carbon doors, hoods, trunks and similar large panels. Their shipping charge is quoted separately before payment.

Shipping for orders below $100 is quoted in your reviewed estimate before payment.
