In recent testing, this exhaust manifold outflowed the factory exhaust manifold by 23%, improving performance and throttle response. The thick wall (0.25" vs. 0.15") flange design increases strength, eliminating warping and cracking prevalent in the factory exhaust manifolds. The matched ports and merged runner design reduces exhaust backpressure, maximizing exhaust flow. Once you install this awesome exhaust manifold, you will feel quicker turbo spool up times, improved throttle response and increased performance.? Along with the exhaust manifold for the 03-07 Dodge RAM (P/N: 46-40012), we want to remind you of the availability of ductile iron exhaust manifolds for the 98.5-02 Dodge RAM Diesel (P/N: 46-40032) and 94-98 Dodge RAM Diesel (P/N: 46-40042). Eliminate the costly exhaust manifold cracks prevalent in the factory exhaust manifold. The aFe Bladerunner exhaust manifold for the popular 5.9L Dodge Ram Cummins sets the new standard. Constructed out of cast 304 stainless steel with a reinforcing rib for strength along the flange and ultra-thick wall flange at the port. The Bladerunner exhaust manifold out flowed the factory exhaust by 23-percent improving exhaust flow, performance and throttle response. This manifold also features 2 EGT probe ports, thick wall design for increased strength (0.25" vs 0.15" for the stock unit), matched ports and has a merged runner design to maximize maximize exhaust flow.
