The S63 4.4L Twin Turbo V8 in the BMW F1X M5/M6 is an absolute monster that responds incredibly well to bolt-on upgrades, larger turbos, and performance tuning. Tuners quickly found that increasing power on the S63 pushed charge air temperatures past the OEM Charge-Air-Coolers' limits resulting in dangerously high Intake Air Temperatures (IATs).
