All new bushings; New design valve body; Stock thrust washers replaced with roller Torrington bearings saves governor solenoids and reduces friction; Drilled intermediate shaft for increased lube; Modified manual valve for lube in all positions; 47RE transmissions upgraded with more rugged 48RE components; New input shafts and hub; Pressure increase starts at much lower engine rpm's and at lighter throttle pedal position movement; Light throttle shift firmness is also maintained; No shuttle shifting problems; Upgraded governor pressure transducer (47RE/48RE); Cooler line case saver in every transmission; Added heavy-duty clutches with up to 25% more material than stock; Machined forward (rear) beveled pressure plate; Machined forward (rear) beveled pressure plate; Machined overdrive brake (front & rear) pressure plate; Machined direct clutch (front) piston; High temp/energy Raybestos band; Billet band strut & anchor; Billet dual ring accumulator piston; BD auxiliary full flow filter kit for extra protection; Clutch Count: FORWARD 5; Fully rollerized geartrain; Clutch Count: DIRECT 6; Increase the durability of your drivetrain; Revised oil circuits; Handles up to 300% more power and torque than the stock transmission. This transmission comes BD Tapshift ready which includes a new gear lever, gear selection display, and control module with fingertip shifting. The 48RE Tapshifter unlocks full electronic gear selection, torque converter lock-up control, gear limiting function and a full manual gear mode. The stock transmission is designed to handle the output of the stock engine, but not much more. Increase the durability of your drivetrain with a BD transmission. All transmissions come with BD's heavy duty transmission pan and most packages come bundled with our auxiliary transmission filter kit for added protection! Add your exact parts and delivery details, then continue to payment. Eligible orders show the final parts, shipping and tax total and a PayPal button here after automatic checks. Freight, oversized, custom and uncertain items go to JuiceBuilt for a quote. You are charged only after approving PayPal; supplier orders are submitted separately after verified payment.

Does a part number guarantee vehicle fitment?

No. Product descriptions are supplied by the manufacturer. Check the manufacturer application information for your exact vehicle, engine and supporting modifications. Online checkout requires your exact-part fitment acknowledgment. Contact JuiceBuilt before ordering if you need fitment help.

Is the stock shown reserved for me?

No. Availability is a dated supplier snapshot. Inventory can change, and adding a part to your build does not reserve it. Availability and delivery are checked again before payment. A supplier order is confirmed separately after payment.

What about shipping?

Eligible standard-size parts orders with a parts subtotal of $100 or more receive free standard shipping. The minimum applies after coupons and other discounts.

The same $100 minimum applies to all brands, including Aerospace Components.

Oversized and freight items are excluded from free shipping at every subtotal, including carbon doors, hoods, trunks and similar large panels. Their shipping charge is quoted separately before payment.

Shipping for orders below $100 is calculated before payment.

Online checkout is initially available for US delivery addresses. For other countries, contact JuiceBuilt for a manual quote before payment.
